The best way I have found to get those 5 star reviews…
Setting realistic expectations from the beginning & then….ask! Here are a couple ideas I have used to get feedback, both good & “bad”, because I want to be the best coach possible. I want to know what my clients want. I want to know that customers & clients are getting what we agreed to at the beginning as far as expectations.
But, I want to know this before the end of their experience, because that does no one any good. So, check in! Asking clients through the process, or how their product is or how their experience was, so you will know if action is being taken, & if not, how you can aid in that, will get you some 5 stars!
The week before the end of your working relationship, pinpoint exact things that were discussed & worked on in the time frame of your experience, that have hit on the target goals & expectations, all within a review doc.
Create a “tips & tricks” for people to leave testimonials. Some people get hung up on if its worded correctly or if it gives enough details. If you send the “tips & tricks” info with the email that details what was accomplished, it will be on your clients mind.
Now how do you get your reviews in a timely manner?
I try to be accommodating for clients by knowing what’s going on in their life (If they’ll let you in). I then can accommodate & send a reminder email soon after our work life is finished, if I don’t hear anything after a couple weeks I will send a reminder so that once they have a “quick opening in their schedule, they could just jot something down for me!” (hint, hint…put that in your email)
Let them know that it is important to you that you get THEIR opinion & feedback, because it’s valuable to you!
I have had great reception when utilizing these tactics & hope you do too!
Make it a great day!
